Dr. Jane Fu Joins the Center for Sexual Health Promotion as Postdoctoral Fellow in Summer 2015!
Dr. Jane Fu recently completed her Ph.D. in epidemiology at the Univeristy of Washington in 2014. During her time as a doctoral student, she took part in nearly half a dozen scientific research assistantships and internships. In 2009, Jane received her Sc.M. in epidemiology & infectious disease (with a vaccine science and policy certificate) at Johns Hopkins Univeristy, where she also worked on a range of research projects in collaboration with international leaders in global health. Originally from Taiwan, Jane conducted her undergraduate studies at National Taiwan Univeristy, where she also has an impressive record of research experiences. In short, she is a stellar scientist!
We are thrilled at the opportunity to bring Dr. Jane Fu on board with our research team at the Center for Sexual Health Promotion. We look forward to her arrival at Indiana University in mid summer 2015. As a postdoctoral research fellow, Jane will have unparalleled access to a wide range of our existing and forthcoming data sets on focusing on sexual behavior - including our ongoing probability study, National Survey of Sexual Health and Behavior (NSSHB). Jane will also work directly with our doctoral students in seminars and other activities. In addition, we will mentor her on her own extramural grant proposals and other creative activities.
