Our superstar doctoral student Lizzy Bartelt will join an exceptional line-up of speakers for this year's TEDxBloomington event on Friday, August 24th, 2018 at 6:30 PM at the Buskirk Chumley Theater.TEDxBloomington is an annual community event focusing on an engaging group of speakers who organize their thoughts around a unique theme. A variety of speakers from across our region will explore this year's theme ("growth") from creative, personal, municipal, social, and sexual perspectives. Specifically, Lizzy will discuss her unique history of academic and community-based work with LGBTQ+ individuals, including recent research studies on bisexual parents and sexual and gender minority youth and their experiences with sexual and reproductive health care. In advance of participating in this exciting event, Lizzy was a featured guest on WFHB's BloomingOut radio show in early August. We are so proud of Lizzy and all her accomplishments!
