The Bloomington Sex Salon began in February as a monthly dicussion series led by Debby Herbenick, co-director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion, as a way to encourage community-based conversation about sex-related topics. The monthly salons have included a wide range of experts; however, in a setting which allows for casual conversation around topics of sex, gender, and sexuality. Dr. Herbenick recently sat down and discussed what to expect from a visit to the Bloomington Sex Salon, as well as its innovative role for delivering sexual health promotion to the Bloomington community and beyond.
